Title:
OPTICAL FILM, COMPOSITION FOR COLORED LAYER FORMATION, DIPYRROMETHENE COBALT COMPLEX, AND DISPLAY DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/132318
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This optical film comprises a transparent substrate and a colored layer laminated on at least one surface of the transparent substrate. The colored layer contains a pigment (A); the pigment (A) contains a coloring material having a maximum absorption wavelength within the range of 470-530 nm; and the coloring material contains a dipyrromethene cobalt complex having a structure represented by formula (I). The combinations of R1 through R7 in the formula (I) are configured such that, when R1 through R7 is plugged into a prescribed reaction formula (II), and a free energy change from before to after the reaction is calculated using a quantum chemical calculation program Gaussian 16, with a B3LYP calculation method and 6-31G (d, p) basis function (for elements with an atomic number larger than Kr in the periodic table, a LanL2DX basis function is assigned), the free energy change is 0.92 kcal/mol or more.
