Abstract:
Provided is an optical film which exhibits excellent wet heat durability and has a supporting body with a good surface state. Also disclosed are: a composition which is suitable for use in the production of this optical film; a method for producing this optical film; and a planar image display device, a three dimensional image display device, a liquid crystal display device and an organic EL display device, each of which uses this optical film. This optical film comprises a supporting body, an alignment film and an optically anisotropic layer containing a liquid crystal compound in this order, and the alignment film contains a polyvinyl alcohol having a polymerizable group and a polyfunctional acrylamide-based compound that is selected from among polyfunctional acrylamide compounds and polyfunctional methacrylamide compounds.
