Abstract:
This optical film for eyewear is characterized by having, provided in the following order from the outside using an observer as a reference, a first light control layer, at least one light reflection layer, a second light control layer, and a linear polarization element layer. The optical film for eyewear is further characterized in that: the light reflection layer includes a cholesteric liquid crystal layer which reflects left-handed circularly polarized light or right-handed circularly polarized light in the visible light region; and the first light control layer and the second light control layer are both 1/4 wavelength plates.
