Abstract:
Provided are: a foldable optical film which has excellent impact resistance and is capable of having improved designability; and an image display device which is provided with this foldable optical film. One embodiment of the present invention provides a foldable optical film 10 which has a surface 10A and a surface 10B that is on the reverse side of the surface 10A, and which is provided with a hard coat layer 12, a resin layer 13 and a decorative layer 14. This foldable optical film 10 is configured such that: the hard coat layer 12 is arranged closer to the surface 10A of the optical film 10 than the resin layer 13 and the decorative layer 14; the resin layer 13 has a film thickness of 10 μm or more; and the resin layer 13 has a Martens hardness of from 1 MPa to 100 MPa (inclusive).
