Abstract:
The present invention proposes an optical film that is a polyester film containing a dye and/or a pigment and is characterized by having a film haze of 6% or less, a light transmittance at 450 nm of 4% or less, a light transmittance at 550 nm of 20% or more, and a color (b*) value of 50 or more, that is to be used as an optical film that, when incorporated into an image display device with an LED light source, is able to equalize the emission intensity of light in the visible light range and equalize the color tone of a display screen, and is also able to prevent a reduction in brightness.
