Abstract:
The present provides a manufacturing method for an optical film having excellent antifouling and antifriction properties. This manufacturing method for an optical film includes a step (1) for applying a lower layer resin and an upper layer resin, a step (2) for, in a state in which the applied lower layer resin and upper layer resin are laminated, pressing a mold on the lower layer resin and the upper layer resin from the upper layer resin side to form a resin layer comprising an irregular structure on a surface thereof, and a step (3) for curing the resin layer. The upper layer resin includes a fluorine-containing monomer and a surface of the mold has been coated with a mold releasing agent. In the surface of the mold coated with the mold releasing agent, the contact angle of hexadecane measured by the θ/2 method, and the ratio of the number of fluorine atoms with respect to the total of the number of carbon atoms, the number of aluminum atoms, the number of oxygen atoms, and the number of fluorine atoms measured by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy are within a predetermined range.
