Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a sheet-shaped optical film having a mold release film, a first adhesive layer, a polarizing film, and a surface protective film, laminated in this order. The polarizing film has a thickness of 60 μm or less. Provided that the plane along the planar direction at the midpoint of the overall thickness of the optical film is defined as a virtual central plane f, the distance x (μm) between the virtual central plane f and the surface protective film, and the distance y (μm) between the virtual central plane f and the mold release film satisfy the following relational expression: x − y > −20. Even if a thin polarizing film is used, the optical film according to the present invention allows the mold release film to be easily peeled away.
