Abstract:
The present invention provides an optical film having a base material and a hard coat layer, wherein the refractive index of the base material at a wavelength of 550 nm is 1.60 or greater, the difference between the refractive index of the base material at a wavelength of 435 nm and the refractive index of the base material at a wavelength of 610 nm is 0.11 or greater, and a peak intensity PV value of a power spectrum attained by performing a high speed Fourier transformation on a reflectance spectrum of the optical film is 0.3 or less. Also provided are a polarizing plate having the optical film and an image display device.
