An optical film that is provided with a plurality of aligned convex microlenses (10), each of which has a region α (11) and a region β (12), said region β forming the outer part of the convex shape of the microlens and positioned so as to cover the region α. This optical film is characterized in that: both the region α and the region β contain a resin, and the refractive index (n1) of the resin in the region α is higher than the refractive index (n2) of the resin in the region β; the region β contains fine particles, and if necessary, the region α contains fine particles, and the content (P1) of the fine particles contained in the region α is lower than the content (P2) of the fine particles contained in the region β; or the region α contains fine particles, and if necessary, the region β contains fine particles, and the content (P1) of the fine particles contained in the region α is higher than the content (P2) of the fine particles contained in the region β.
