Abstract:
Provided is an optical film provided with a polarizing plate having a recessed part or a through-hole while having excellent handling properties, suppressed distortion of the polarizing plate, and a small dimensional change due to an environment change. The optical film according to the present invention is provided with a glass film, a polarizing plate, and an adhesive layer in this order, wherein the polarizing plate has a recessed part or a through-hole which opens on the surface of the polarizing plate opposite to the glass film, the recessed part or the through-hole is filled with a portion of the adhesive layer, and the glass film has a thickness of 30-150 μm.
