Title:
OPTICAL FILTER FOR AMBIENT LIGHT SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/221424
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention to provide an optical filter which is capable of achieving both excellent visible light transmittance and near-IR cut performance even when the incidence angle is increased with the reduction in the profile of equipment provided with ambient light sensors, and which enables the reduction of warping and distortions and can be increased in size. The optical filter for an ambient light sensor is characterized by comprising a base material that satisfies the requirement (a), and by satisfying a specific optical characteristic: the requirement (a) is that the optical filter has a layer including a compound (A) having an absorption maximum in a wavelength range of 650 to less than 800 nm, and a compound (B) having an absorption maximum in a wavelength range of 800-1850 nm.
