Abstract:
An optical filter which contains a compound represented by formula (I). (In the formula, each of R1-R4 independently represents a hydrogen atom or an optionally substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1-6 carbon atoms; each of T1 and T2 independently represents a hydrogen atom or an optionally substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1-6 carbon atoms; and one of Y1 and Y2 represents an optionally substituted monovalent aromatic group, and the other one represents an optionally substituted monovalent aromatic group, a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or an optionally substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1-6 carbon atoms (this hydrocarbon group is a group other than a monovalent aromatic group, and -CH2- contained in this hydrocarbon group may be substituted by -O- or -CO-).)
