Abstract:
An optical fingerprint detection apparatus (100) and an electronic device, which take into account the performance of the optical fingerprint detection apparatus (100) whilst reducing the space occupied by same in the electronic device. The optical fingerprint detection apparatus (100) is arranged in an accommodating area of the side surface of the electronic device, and comprises: a cover plate (110); an optical assembly (120) and a fingerprint sensor (130), the optical assembly (120) being connected to the fingerprint sensor (130), and being arranged in sequence in a first direction of the cover plate (110), the first direction being toward the inner side of the side surface of the electronic device; a first substrate (140) arranged in the first direction of the fingerprint sensor (130), the first substrate (140) being fixed to a carrier plate (211) at the accommodating area, such that the first substrate (140) is arranged in a second direction of the carrier plate (211), the second direction being toward the outer side of the side surface of the electronic device; a support member (150) connecting the cover plate (110) and the first substrate (140) in order to support the cover plate (110) to be arranged in the second direction of the optical assembly (120); and a light source (160) used for emitting optical signals to a finger at the cover plate (110), the optical signals forming fingerprint optical signals carrying fingerprint information after passing through the finger, and the optical assembly (120) being used for directing the fingerprint optical signals to the fingerprint sensor (130).
