Abstract:
Provided are an optical head and an optical information device which make it possible to suppress the temperature rise in an optical detector. The optical head (10) is provided with a semiconductor laser (101) which emits a beam; an objective lens (105) collecting onto an optical disk (21) the beam emitted from the semiconductor laser (101); and an optical detector (120) detecting the beam reflected from the optical disk (21); wherein the optical detector (120) includes a light receiving unit (123) receiving the beam reflected from the optical disk (21); a package (125) covering the light receiving unit (123); and a heat-transfer adhesive layer (124) disposed between the package (125) and the light receiving unit (123); and the heat-transfer adhesive layer (124) is formed on the light receiving unit (123), in the region including a light path through which the beam reflected from the optical disk (21) passes.
