Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an optical information recording device and an optical information recording method that ensure performance and speed up calculation processing time, and that generate 2D data. In the present invention, an error-correction block, which was generated by error-correction encoding of user data, is divided into b (b: natural number) sectors in which the number of bits included in one sector is a-bits (a: natural number). The sectors are divided into c (c: natural number) to form sub-sectors. Bits are allotted to each of the c sub-sectors and the order of bits is randomized for each of the sub-sectors to which bits were allotted. An interleaved sector is generated by combining c of the sub-sectors for which the order of bits was randomized. The interleaved sector is divided into c/d (d: natural number; c≠d, c>d), and e (e: natural number; e≠b, b>e) of the divided interleaved sectors are combined to form a pre-modulation block. A modulation column is generated by modulating an array in the pre-modulation block using a modulation rule so that the lower limit value of a continuous number of ON or OFF pixels disposed in a row direction becomes f (f: natural number). A modulation column is provided in a data unit of a sub-page generated by dividing prescribed page data into g (g: natural number). By providing a synchronization signal in a marker unit, 2D data is generated. The marker unit is formed by a fixed pattern indicating the synchronization signal and an adjacent-code copy pattern of the modulation column.
