Abstract:
Disclosed is an optical information recording medium (1) which includes: at least one recording layer (11); a protective layer (13) which transmits focused laser light flux; and a super-resolution functional layer (12) which changes the optical characteristics in a local region smaller than a diffraction limit determined by the optical performance of a focusing optical system (25) and the wavelength of laser light flux (26) during at least the irradiation of focused laser light flux. The maximum thickness (K) between the light incident surface of the protective layer (13) and the recording layer (11) is 0.083 mm.
