Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem, in an optical instrument device, of discontinuing the use of a lens stand that has come to be used frequently, eliminating the need for a vertical direction dimension relating to this stand and temples of a glasses frame, making the device more low-profile, and improving optical accuracy and reliable operability. A frame-shaped retaining mechanism is positioned so as to intersect an optical axis of an optical instrument, said frame-shaped retaining mechanism being structured from a frame member that can freely slide in an X-axis direction with regard to a lens to be examined, such as a circular lens or a framed glasses lens, and retaining arm members that are positioned in symmetrical manner, temples of a glasses frame are retained in an upright condition, and a movement operation in the X-axis direction has been made possible.
