Abstract:
The present invention relates to an optical interconnection system for data centers, and an optical interconnection method. The system comprises: a nonlinear differential precoding module, which performs nonlinear differential precoding on an input original signal, so as to obtain a precoded signal, the number of levels of which is increased; a generalized Tomlinson-Harashima precoding module, which performs pre-equalization on the precoded signal, the number of levels of which is increased, so as to obtain a pre-equalized signal distributed in a dispersed manner; a faster-than-Nyquist module, which performs high-frequency truncation and filtering on the pre-equalized signal distributed in a dispersed manner, so as to obtain a discrete signal; a signal transmission module, which transmits the discrete signal from a transmitting end to a receiving end; a feed-forward equalizer, which performs strong equalization on the discrete signal, so as to obtain a signal, the levels of which are stratified, and decodes, according to a GTHP decoding table, the signal, the levels of which are stratified, so as to obtain a decoded signal; and a simplified 2D constellation distortion module, which processes the decoded signal, so as to reshape a constellation, and obtains a restored signal according to a time interleaving method. The present invention has good stability, a fast transmission rate and a wide range of application.
