Abstract:
An optical multiplexer/demultiplexer optical interface device for a high-speed optical module comprises a packaging housing (102), an external-connection optical interface unit (100), two internal-connection optical interface units (118,119), and an optical multiplexing/demultiplexing unit. The external-connection interface unit (100) is mounted at the position of a fiber interface of a high-speed optical module, and is configured to access connection fibers (13, 14). The internal-connection optical interface units (118, 119) are connected to an optical transceiver assembly. The optical multiplexing/demultiplexing unit in the packaging housing (102) realizes multiplexing/demultiplexing of an optical signal on a fiber link. The optical multiplexer/demultiplexer optical interface device of the high-speed optical module is used at the position of an optical interface of the high-speed optical module. The device easily realizes connection of the fiber link outside the module and the optical transceiver assembly inside the module. Furthermore, because the structure is small, miniaturization of the module is facilitated, such that installation and adjustment can be quickly performed in manufacturing and assembling of the high-speed optical module, and the process of the assembling and the adjustment is simple and fast. In addition, because no fiber is coiled in the module, damage to or fracture of fibers is avoided, module reliability is improved, and the installation and manufacturing of the high-speed optical module are facilitated.
