Abstract:
An optical interferometer 1A equipped with a branching/multiplexing unit 10, a first optical system 20, a second optical system 30, and a drive unit 40. At the boundary between the interior and exterior of a transparent member, the branching/multiplexing unit 10 has a branching surface 11, an incident surface 12, a first emission surface 13, a multiplexing surface 14, and a second emission surface 15. The branching surface 11 reflects some of the incident light L0 and emits said light as first branched light L11, and transmits the remainder thereof into the interior as second branched light L21. The multiplexing surface 14 multiplexes some of the first branched light L12 and some of the second branched light L22 and emits the same to the exterior as first multiplexed light L3, and multiplexes the remainders thereof and transmits the same into the interior as second multiplexed light L4. The second emission surface 15 emits some L41 of the second multiplexed light L4 to the exterior. As a result, it is possible to produce an optical interferometer capable of reducing the proportion of excess loss.
