Provided are: an optical laminate which is less likely to crack despite having undergone a cutting process; an optical laminate with a cover glass which comprises such an optical laminate; a production method for these; and an image display device with a cover glass which comprises the optical laminate or the optical laminate with a cover glass. This optical laminate has an adhesive layer and an optical film having undergone a cutting process, and the ratio RR/DR of the regular reflectance RR and the diffuse reflectance DR of the cut end surface is 0.15 or more. This optical laminate with a cover glass has such an optical laminate and a cover glass laminated thereon via another adhesive layer disposed on the opposite side to the adhesive layer of the optical laminate.
