Abstract:
An optical line termination comprising a deserializer (41) for parallelizing burst data received from an optical network unit is provided with a fixed pattern generating section (2) for generating fixed pattern data which is predetermined fixed data, and a data selection section (3) for selecting one of the fixed pattern data or the burst data and inputting the selected data to the deserializer (41) as data to be parallelized according to a data head indicating signal indicating the head of the burst data and a data end indicating signal indicating the end of the burst data.
