Abstract:
The present invention involves: an optical material composition characterized by containing (A) 100 parts by weight of a polymerizable monomer, and (B) and 0.001 to 0.3 parts by weight of a UV absorber having a specific structure and a maximum absorption wavelength of 360 nm to less than 380 nm; and an optical material comprising the composition. The present invention makes it possible to provide an optical material composition containing a UV absorber having excellent long-term storage stability, and an optical material comprising the composition, and more specifically, to provide an optical material composition with which it possible to form plastic lenses having a high blue light reduction rate.
