Abstract:
In an optical material according to the present disclosure, the transmittance curve measured with a thickness of 2 mm satisfies the characteristics in (1) below, and the luminous transmittance satisfies the characteristic in (2). (1) Maximum transmittance at a wavelength of 410 nm to 450 nm is at least equal to 20% and at most equal to 65%. (2) Luminous transmittance is at least equal to 70% and at most equal to 85%.
