Abstract:
An optical member capable of preventing or suppressing the nonuniformity of
the luminance from occurring on the screen of a display panel, light source device,
and a display are provided. In the sheet-like or plate-like optical member (1a)
disposed between the display panel for displaying an image and light sources,
areas (high reflection areas) (11a) in which the light reflectance is higher
than that at the position corresponding to an area (namely, the center of the screen
of the display panel) in which the arrangement intervals of light sources (53)
are short are formed at positions corresponding to areas in which the arrangement
intervals of the light sources (53) are long (namely, the ends of the screen of
the display panel).
