Abstract:
An optical member transporting device (90) of one embodiment of the present invention is provided with a control means for controlling a lens-unit-suctioning head (14) that attaches under vacuum pressure to a top surface of a lens part (50), the lens-unit-suctioning head (14) being controlled so as to align the lens part (50) with compact LED illumination (13) for directing light from above the top surface of the lens part (50) at an opening (3a) for incident light provided on the top surface. The lens part (50) and the compact LED illumination are aligned on the basis of a projected image obtained by projecting the opening hole (3a) on the rear side of the lens part (50) using the light from the compact LED illumination (13).
