Disclosed is an optical module, belonging to the technical field of fiber optic communications. The present disclosure provides an optical module; by a convergent lens facing toward an optical chip, it is possible to converge divergent light from the optical chip into parallel light, and it is also possible to converge the light transmitted to the optical chip into convergent light; by means of a reflective face, the converging lens is able to establish an optical connection with the end face facing a coupling lens, the coupling lens being arranged on an optical fiber holder, achieving an optical connection between a lens assembly and the optical fiber holder; the optical fiber holder is provided with a cavity passing from one end face to the other end face, the cavity not penetrating the end face of the other side, the coupling lens being arranged on the surface of the end face of the other side; the optical fiber extends from that side into the cavity, achieving an optical connection between the coupling lens and the optical fiber; thus an optical connection between the optical fiber and the optical chip is established.
