Abstract:
In optical communication networks using wavelength-division multiplexing, improvement of utilization efficiency of the optical communication networks is difficult due to bandwidth constriction effects during wavelength selection processing. Thus, the optical network management device according to the present invention includes: a wavelength selection information generating means that generates, for each optical path accommodating an information signal, wavelength selection information about processing of selecting a wavelength through which the optical path passes; and a wavelength selection information notifying means that notifies, of the wavelength selection information, an optical node device through which the optical path passes.
