Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide an optical network unit management method and apparatus, comprising: an OLT obtains at least one matching rule, the matching rule comprising a corresponding relationship between a matching type field of an ONU and a processing operation of the ONU; the OLT obtains the matching type field of an ONU to be matched; perform matching between the matching type field of the ONU to be matched and the at least one matching rule to obtain a target matching rule; and the OLT executes the processing operation of the ONU in the target matching rule. According to the method, an ONU is able to be automatically added to a corresponding VS, or information of the ONU is automatically reported to the corresponding VS.
