Abstract:
In order to improve optical power supply efficiency, this optical power supply system comprises: a power supply device that includes a semiconductor laser for oscillating a laser with electric power and outputting a pulse of power supply light; a power receiving device that includes a photoelectric conversion element for converting the power supply light into electric power; and a control device that adjusts the power supply amount by the pulse width of the power supply light from the semiconductor laser according to the power consumption of a consumption destination that consumes the electric power converted by the power receiving device. In this optical power supply system, the power supply device achieves the optimization of the output of the semiconductor laser according to the electric power consumed by the power receiving device, and thus performs efficient optical power supply.
