Title:
OPTICAL RECORDING METHOD, OPTICAL REPRODUCING METHOD, OPTICAL RECORDING DEVICE, AND OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2007/097352
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided are an optical recording method, an optical recording device and an optical
recording medium, which are so excellent that an optical system can be reduced
in size by reducing an irradiation energy for one record in the irradiations of
an information light and a reference light and which can apply a hologram record to
the small-sized optical system to be used in the CD or CVD. For these provisions, a
shift multiplex recording method irradiates an optical recording medium having a
recording layer for recording information by utilizing holography, with the information
light and the reference light thereby to record the information in the recording
layer, and performs the repeated records while moving at least one of the information
light, the reference light and the recording layer horizontally of the recording
layer surface. In a preferred mode, the optical recording method, the optical
recording device and the optical recording medium are characterized in that
the irradiation is performed for each recording pulse, in that the peak intensity
of light of the recording pulses is 0.1 to 100 mW, in that the irradiation time period
is 0.05 to 1 x 105 nsecs., and in that the irradiation of the recording
pulses is performed by 5 to 1 x 107 times for 1 msec.
