Abstract:
An optical scanning device having properties of being highly resistant to external
stress, where such properties are achieved without an increase in the number
of parts. An insertion part (6) into which a cylindrical laser source unit (1)
can be inserted is formed in a casing (5). When the laser source unit (1) is inserted
held in the insertion part (6), the laser source unit (1) and the insertion part
(6) of the casing (5) are interference-fitted in two positions (forward end side
fitting part (4a) and forward end side contact part (6a), root side fitting part
(4b) and root side contact part (6b)) apart from each other in the optical axis
direction.
