Abstract:
The present invention detects an object without malfunctioning as a result of ambient light. An optical sensor (101) according to one embodiment of the present invention is provided with a light-emitting element (LED) for alternatingly turning off and lighting at each period, a light-receiving element (PD1) for receiving reflected light and generating photocurrent, and an integration circuit (11) for integrating the photocurrent in the positive direction during periods when the light-emitting element is lighted and integrating the photocurrent in the negative direction during periods when the light-emitting element is off. The sum of the integrating period lengths in the first period and last period is the same as the lengths of the other single integrating periods.
