Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible to reduce the measurement time of an optical sensor while maintaining the accuracy thereof. An initial setting circuit (19) is provided with a counter for counting the number of pulse outputs from a first light reception unit (11) in first to nth regions arrived at by equally dividing each period of a reference clock by n, specifies the region from among the first to nth regions having the maximum counter value, and causes a first DLL circuit (17) to operate so as to produce convergence on the specified region.
