Abstract:
An optical sensor device (1) has: an optical sensor (2) that detects the presence of an object (Obj) to be detected; and a translucent cover (9) disposed at a position of an area covering the optical sensor (2) by providing a space (S) between the optical sensor (2) and the translucent cover. The optical sensor (2) is provided with: a substrate (3); a light emitting element (4), which is provided on the substrate (3), and which outputs light from the front surface side of the substrate (3); a light receiving element (5), which is provided on the substrate (3), and which receives reflected light based on the light outputted from the light emitting element (4); a first light blocking section (8), which is provided to surround a light receiving surface (5A) of the light receiving element (5), and which blocks light between the light emitting element (4) and the light receiving element (5); and a second light blocking section (10), which is provided in a space (S) between the translucent cover (9) and the optical sensor (2), and which blocks light between the light emitting element (4) and the light receiving element (5).
