Abstract:
This optical sensor (1) comprises a metal base section (10) formed in a cylindrical shape, an optical fiber member (20) inserted into the interior of the base section (10), and a sensor head (30) that is formed from single crystal alumina, joined to the base section, and optically connected with the optical fiber member (20). The optical sensor (1) is characterized in that the sensor head (30) comprises a first reflective surface (311) for reflecting some of light introduced from the optical fiber member (20) and a second reflective surface (312) provided facing the first reflective surface (311) and serving to reflect some of the light reflected by the first reflective surface (311), and in that said optical sensor (1) is provided with a first cavity (31) for outputting first interference light obtained by causing the light reflected by the first reflective surface (311) and the light reflected by the second reflective surface (312) to interfere with each other.
