[Problem] To provide an optical sensor unit, which is configured such that a pressing force, with which the optical sensor unit is in contact with a display screen of an image display panel, is within a predetermined range, and that the optical sensor unit is applicable even to a positional change of the image display panel due to heat generated when the image display panel is driven. [Solution] An optical sensor unit (1) is configured such that: the optical sensor unit is provided with a substrate (2), which has an optical sensor mounted thereon, a light blocking frame (4) which prevents external light from entering the optical sensor, and a fixing member (3), which supports and fixes the substrate (2); the fixing member (3) has a plate spring (3) integrally formed therewith; and that the light blocking frame (4) is in contact with a display screen (101a) of the image display panel by being pressed by means of the plate spring (3), while being guided by means of a guide hole formed in the substrate (2).
