Abstract:
This optical sensor has: a semiconductor substrate (10); an insulating film (12) formed on the semiconductor substrate (10); a light receiving section (20) formed on the semiconductor substrate (10); and an electrode (30) formed on the semiconductor substrate (10) by having the insulating film (12) therebetween. The light receiving section (20) has a light receiving element (21) that converts light into charges, and a reset element (22) that discharges charges accumulated in the light receiving element (21). An electrode (30) has a first electrode (31) for applying a control voltage to the reset element (22). A first electrode (31) has light blocking characteristics. The shape of the light receiving surface of the light receiving element (21) is defined by means of the first electrode (31).
