Abstract:
An optical sheet forming technique comprises: an extrusion unit 9 with a discharge slit 18; a forming roll unit (10) with rolls 15, 16 and 17 that are capable of rotating centered on rotation axes; a thick section-forming groove 19 provided on the forming roll unit; and a position adjustment mechanism 12 capable of adjusting the position of the discharge slit 18 with respect to the thick section-forming groove. On a discharged molten resin 13a, neck-in sections 13p generated by the neck-in phenomenon are continuously configured along the extrusion direction Fp. A neck-in section 13p is positioned so as to face the thick section-forming groove 19 by the position adjustment mechanism 12.
