Title:
OPTICAL SIGNAL DEMULTIPLEXING DEVICE, OPTICAL SIGNAL RECEPTION DEVICE, OPTICAL SIGNAL TRANSMITTING/RECEIVING DEVICE, AND OPTICAL SIGNAL DEMULTIPLEXING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/179686
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention demultiplexes optical signals of different wavelength intervals while suppressing the number of ports for the wavelength selective switch being used. A branching means (11) branches optical signals by the number of wavelength intervals only. Each band division means (12) divides a signal band into N number of divided bands, and generates a band division signal in which odd-numbered channels and even-numbered channels have been separated. Wave synthesis means (13a and 13b) synthesize band division signals of the same signal band, and branching means (14a and 14b) output the synthesized signal to an optical receiver (20). A control means (15) controls the wavelength selective switch included in the band division means (12) on the basis of information indicating the signal configuration of the signals in each wavelength interval, thereby containing, in each band division signal, a signal of a signal band in which a signal of a corresponding wavelength interval is present.
