Title:
OPTICAL SIGNAL PROCESSING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/167759
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In order to provide an optical signal processing device capable of RC in a complex space using light intensity and phase information, either or both a photofield intensity value and a phase value are modulated at a modulation cycle T1, by an optical modulator 212 having a laser light, emitted by a laser light source 211, controlled by an electric signal processing circuit 210. At the same time, an input signal u(t) is modulated at a modulation cycle T2 in a time region by the optical modulator 212 and modulated to an input signal u'(t). The converted input signal u'(t) passes through an optical transmission path 213 and is input into an optical loop circuit 215 via an optical coupler 214. Some of the light that loops is divided into two branches by an optical coupler 218 and the branched light is converted to a complex intermediate signal x(t) by a coherent light receiver 219. The complex intermediate signal x(t) demodulated by this coherent light receiver 219 can perform operations as RC by performing the formula (2) calculation in the electric signal processing circuit 220.
