Abstract:
An optical splitter, an ODN, a method for identifying an optical link in which an ONU is located, an OLT, an ONU, and a PON system. The optical splitter comprises a light-in section and N light-out sections, each of at least N-1 light-out sections is provided with at least one optical filtering structure, and each optical filtering structure filters optical signals of one wavelength at specific transmittance; any two light-out sections provided with the optical filtering structures satisfy at least one of the following conditions: condition 1, at least one wavelength filtered is different, and condition 2, the transmittance for the optical signals of at least one wavelength is different; in the light-out sections provided with the light filtering structures, there are at least two light-out sections that satisfy condition 2. The optical splitter is applied to an ODN of a PON, and a light-out section can be identified by means of the wavelength of or transmittance for a filtered optical signal, so that when test light is sent on an OLT side to detect an optical link in which an ONU is located, types of the test light can be reduced, a test light wavelength scanning range of the OLT is narrowed, and the manufacturing difficulty and cost of a device for sending the test light of the OLT are reduced.
