Abstract:
This optical structure (100) is provided with a low refractive index layer (102) and a high refractive index layer (103). The interface between the low refractive index layer (102) and the high refractive index layer (103) forms a recess/protrusion shape, the recessed sections (121) of the recess/protrusion shape are recessed toward the low refractive index layer (102) side, the protruding sections (122) protrude toward the high refractive index layer (103) side, and the recessed sections (121) and the protruding sections (122) each have a flat section that extends in the surface direction of the low refractive index layer (102) and the high refractive index layer (103). On side surfaces (120S) of the recess/protrusion shape, two side surfaces (120S), which are adjacent to each other with the flat section of the recessed sections (121) therebetween, form a tapered shape toward the low refractive index layer side, and two side surfaces (120S), which are adjacent to each other with the flat section (122A) of the protruding sections (122) therebetween, form a tapered shape toward the high refractive index layer side. In addition, the high refractive index layer (103) is disposed so as to face the display surface side of a display device.
