Abstract:
Provided is an optical styrene-based resin composition which is excellent in terms of transparency, hue, and dimensional stability and of stability to the light from LED light sources in long-term use. This optical styrene-based resin composition comprises: a styrene-based resin (A) which is a copolymer comprising units of a styrene-based monomer and units of a (meth)acrylic ester monomer; and a hindered-amine light stabilizer (B). The copolymer comprises 95-20 mass% the units of a styrene-based monomer and 5-80 mass% the units of a (meth)acrylic ester monomer, the copolymer being taken as 100 mass%. The hindered-amine light stabilizer (B) is contained in an amount of 0.001-1.0 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the styrene-based resin (A).
