Abstract:
The present invention relates to an optical system for counting particles. The optical system comprises: an optical cell that accommodates particles; a light source that emits light at an angle that is within a specified first range of an optical axis orthogonal to the center of the optical cell; and a light transmitter including a first lens, a second lens, and a third lens, wherein each of the first and second lenses is positioned between the light source and the optical cell and has a flat surface on the light source side and a convex radius of curvature on the optical cell side, and the third lens is positioned between the second lens and the optical cell and has a convex radius of curvature on the second lens side and a flat surface on the optical cell side. The heights of the centers of the first and second lenses may be higher than the height of the center of the optical cell and lower than the height of the center of the light source.
