Abstract:
An optical system and a head mount display. The optical system comprises: a first lens (10) having a first surface (110) and a second surface (120) arranged opposite each other, the first lens (10) comprising a light coupling-in end face (130), and the light coupling-in end face (130) being connected to the first surface (110) and the second surface (120); a polarization reflector provided on one side of the first lens (10) away from the light coupling-in end face (130); a beam splitting lens (20) provided on one side of the second surface (120) of the first lens (10); a second lens (30) provided between the beam splitting lens (20) and the first lens (10); and a phase retarder provided on the beam splitting lens (20) or the second lens (30), the second lens (30) comprising a main body portion (310) and an extension portion (320), the main body portion (310) being arranged corresponding to a middle area of the beam splitting lens (20), the extension portion (320) extending in a direction from the main body portion (310) to an outer edge of the beam splitting lens (20), and an outer edge of the extension portion (320) being aligned with the outer edge of the beam splitting lens (20). The optical system can avoid the generation of a gap, thereby ensuring the imaging effect of the head mount display.
