Abstract:
An optical system (ZL) that makes imaging in a plurality of object-side media (e.g., air and water) having different refractive indexes possible, wherein: the optical system comprises, in order from the object side, a front-side lens group (G1) having a fixed position along the optical axis direction and rear-side lens groups (e.g., G2-G4); the rear-side lens groups include at least two mobile lens groups (e.g., G2 and G3); and when the object-side medium changes, the at least two mobile lens groups from among the rear-side lens groups are moved along the optical axis.
