Abstract:
Provided is an optical temperature sensor characterized by comprising: a temperature sensitive element the light transmission characteristic of which changes according to temperature; a hollow holding body which holds the temperature sensitive element; and an optical fiber which is provided in the holding body and disposed to face the temperature sensitive element at a position where the leading end surface thereof is a predetermined distance apart from the temperature sensitive element, and in that the temperature sensitive element allows light emitted from the leading end surface of the optical fiber to be incident thereon, allows the incident light to be transmitted therethrough, and allows reflected light obtained by the transmitted light being reflected by an object to be measured to be transmitted therethrough.
