Abstract:
An optical tomographic imaging apparatus (100) comprising a first splitting unit (136 -A) configured to split a first combined beam (142-1) into a first beam (175 -Al) and a second beam (175 -A2) having different polarization directions, the first combined beam being formed by combining a return beam from an inspection object irradiated with a first measuring beam and a reference beam corresponding to the first measuring beam, a selection unit (137) configured to select either a third beam (142-2 or 175 -Bl) or the second beam, the third beam being based on a second combined beam (142-2) formed by combining a return beam from the inspection object irradiated with a second measuring beam and a reference beam corresponding to the second measuring beam, a first acquisition unit (125) configured to acquire, if the second beam is selected by the selection unit, a tomographic image indicating polarization information of the inspection object based on the first beam and the second beam, and a second acquisition unit (125) configured to acquire, if the third beam is selected by the selection unit, a tomographic image indicating a plurality of pieces of intensity information of the inspection object based on the first beam and the third beam.
