Abstract:
An optical transceiver is provided with: a wavelength-tunable transmission unit that transmits an optical transmission signal; a wavelength-tunable reception unit that receives an optical reception signal; a wavelength table for storing a plurality of wavelengths; an input terminal into which a wavelength selection signal is input; and a control unit that uses the wavelength selection signal as a basis to determine whether the optical transmission signal or the optical reception signal is to be subjected to control, selects a wavelength from the wavelength table on the basis of the wavelength selection signal, performs transmission wavelength control in which the selected wavelength is set as the wavelength of the optical transmission signal in the wavelength-tunable transmission unit when it is determined that the optical transmission signal is to be subjected to control, and performs reception wavelength control in which the selected wavelength is set as the wavelength of the optical reception signal in the wavelength-tunable reception unit when it is determined that the optical reception signal is to be subjected to control.
